LIVING WELL WITH A DISABILITY
LIVING WELL PURPOSE
The Living Well program promotes a healthy well being and lifestyle for adults at any age or limitation. It's a struggle for most people in our society to build healthy lifestyles that include eating balanced diets, being physically active, engaging in stress-reducing activities, and preventing specific health problems. Pursuing meaningful life goals is the cornerstone of the Living Well workshop. This workshop can help individuals develop or maintain healthy goals and boost their capacity to achieve them. Healthy goals turned into healthy habits can prevent many secondary conditions for people with disabilities where people with healthy lifestyles usually feel better.
